This game keeps her busy for a sufficient amount of time for me when I really need her to keep busy for a bit when I have to do something very important that requires my full attention. She does not get frustrated with this game easily and she does not constantly ask me to help her or look at it. But it is also one of those games that has a lot of neat things, that I can talk to her about when I do have some time. She hasn’t gotten bored of this game yet.

I purchased this game for my 4 year old who was already familiar with DS. This game was extremely easy for a first time user and I would highly recommend to 4 year old esp as their first DS Game. It might not be challenging enough for 5 and 6 year olds or advanced user. Easy yet still fun. One of nice feature is drawing game. (Basicly gives them an oportunity to learn how to use the pen and controls with no actual challenge. It would be a good starting point for kids just learning to manuver DS. However, if your child already enjoys games like Pinky’ Pony Party, Dora, and Tinkerbell, this game would definitely NOT be challenging enough. GREAT choice for beginners and butjust OK for advanced users.

this is just the perfect game for my 3 yr old grand daughter. I was reluctant to purchase a DS for a 3yr old, but since I did, I then needed games for a 3 yr old. These Smart Girl’s are perfect. She is able to play, draw, count, match etc. Her 6 yr sister likes the dress up portion. They are then able to “trade” games. I don’t let them play with these long enough to get bored, so the games stay interesting. I would recommend this game for those that are almost or just turning 3, even though the age recommendation is 3+. Easy, colorful, and easy.

Just bought my 5 year old daughter a nintendo DSI with this game and others. She tried this one only once and was not captivated at all. Has played solely with the super mario…big disappointment. Was excited to see games can be resold/traded, but also disappointed with the huge price cut.
